Primary healthcare—the best form of prevention

Primary healthcare services provided by SMHC include routine general medical care for all ages, including—medical examinations; lab and diagnostic services; evaluation and management of acute and chronic medical problems; podiatry; health maintenance and disease prevention services. SMHC is a comprehensive service provider. Services that are not available on site such as specialty care are arranged through the health center by referral to local physicians and hospitals.

 

Building on our success: In Spring 2008, we’re expanding to our new Westbrook Plaza building. This joint project with Mercy Housing California will include 48 units of affordable housing and a new health center.
 


Delivering compassionate, consistent care: Our staff has the experience and training required to deliver quality healthcare with understanding and respect.
 
     
EMERGENCIES:

In the case of emergencies, such as potential loss of life, loss of limb, or extreme pain, patients should always call 911 first.
