Health Center’s new website.
At SMHC, we believe building relationships with our
clients and other service providers is the best way
to solve our community’s complex health problems.
For over 30 years, SMHC has provided comprehensive high
quality healthcare to medically underserved individuals
and families in our community. We deliver that care
with sensitivity, respect and compassion. Because we
believe making our patients feel welcome and comfortable
is the critical first step toward establishing the trusting
relationship that leads to consistent care.

Woman Fights for Her Community: She is known as the Ultimate Weapon. Mrs. Westbrook who did most of her work as a volunteer is now bed ridden but continues to speak loudly and boldly for the poor.
Building on our success: In
Spring 2008, we’re expanding to our new Westbrook
Plaza building. This joint project with Mercy Housing
California will include 48 units of affordable housing
and a new health center.
